சமயத் துறப்பு
சமயத் துறப்பு (ஆங்கிலம்: Religious disaffiliation) என்பது ஒருவர் சமயத்தில் இருந்துவிட்டு விலகுதல் அல்லது அச் சமயத்தை மறுத்தல், விமர்சித்தல் ஆகும். பல சமயங்கள் சமயம் துறப்பவர்களுக்கு மரண தண்டனை உட்பட்ட கடுமையான தண்டனைகளை விதிக்கின்றன. சமயங்கள் பார்வையில் இவர்கள் சமயத் துரோகிகளாகக் கருதப்படுகிறார்கள்.[1][2][3]

கிறித்தவத்தில் இருந்து சமயத்தில் இருந்து விலகியவர்களை கொல்வது நெடுங்காலமாக (4 நூற்றாண்டிலிருந்து 15 நூற்றாண்டு வரை) நடந்தது. தற்காலத்தில் இது எங்கும் இல்லை.
இசுலாம் தொகு
இசுலாமில் இருந்து விலகுவது அலல்து இசுலாமை மறுப்பது கடவுளுக்கு எதிரான ஒரு பாரிய குற்றமாக கருதப்படுகிறது. சமயத்தில் இருந்து விலகுவர்களுக்கு தண்டனை மரணம் ஆகும். இன்றும் சவூதி அரேபியா, ஈரான், யெமென், ஆப்கானிஸ்தான் உட்பட பல இஸ்லாமிய நாடுகளில் சமயம் துறப்பவர்களுக்கு மரண தண்டனை சட்டத்தில் உள்ளது.
இந்து சமயம் தொகு
இந்து சயமத்தில் சமயம் மாறுபவர்களுக்கு அல்லது மறுப்பவர்களுக்கு தீவரமான தண்டனைகள் எதுவும் நடைமுறையில் இல்லை. ஆனால் இந்தியாவின் சில மாநிலங்களில் சமயம் மாறுவது பற்றி கடுமையான சட்டங்கள் உண்டு.
