ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் பகுப்பாய்வு அமைப்பு
ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் பகுப்பாய்வு அமைப்பு (Research and Analysis Wing) (R&AW) (ISO: Anusandhān aur Viślēṣaṇ Viṅg), இதனை சுருக்கமாக ரா (R&AW) என்பர். இந்தியாவின் நலனனைக் கருத்தில் கொண்டு, வெளிநாடுகளில் இந்தியாவின் பாதுகாப்புக்கு எதிராக நடக்கும் சதிசெயல்களை கண்காணிப்பதற்கும், தடை செய்யவும், சதிகாரர்களை கண்டறிந்து கைது செய்தற்குமான புலனாய்வுப் பணிகளில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ள அமைப்பாகும். முன்னர் இந்திய உளவு அமைப்பு உள்நாட்டு மற்றும் வெளிநாடுகளில் உளவுப் பணி மேற்கொண்டிருந்தது. 1968 முதல் புதிதாக துவகக்ப்பட்ட ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் பகுபாய்வு அமைப்பு வெளிநாடுகளில் மட்டும் தனது உளவுப் பணியை மேற்கொள்கிற்து. இதன் தலைமையகம் புதுதில்லியில் உள்ளது. இதன் தற்போதைய தலைவர் சமந்த் கோயல் அவார்.[3]இந்திய அரசின் செயலாளர் பதவி தரத்தில் உள்ள ரா அமைப்பின் தலைவர், இந்தியப் பிரதமரின் நேரடிக் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் இயங்குபவர். இவர் தேசிய பாதுகாப்பு ஆலோசகருக்கு தனது அறிக்கைகளை பிரதமருக்கு அனுப்புவர்.

1962 இந்திய சீனப் போர் மற்றும் 1965 இந்திய பாகிஸ்தான் போரிகள் வருவதை துப்பறிந்து இந்திய உளவு அமைப்பால் இந்திய அரசுக்கு செய்தி தர இயலவில்லை. எனவே 1968-இல் வெளிநாடுகளில் மட்டும் துப்பறியும் மற்றும் உளவுப் பணிகள் செய்வதற்கு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் பகுப்பாய்வு அமைப்பு துவக்கப்பட்டது.[4][5]
ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் பகுப்பாய்வு அமைப்பின் முயற்சியால் 1975-இல் சிக்கிம் இராச்சியம் இந்தியாவுடன் இணைந்தது.[6] துவக்கக் காலத்தில் வெளிநாடுகளின் உளவு வேலைகள், தீவிரவாதிகளுக்கு எதிரான நடவடிக்கைகள், இந்திய அரசின் வெளிநாட்டு கொள்கைகளில் ஆலோசனை வழங்குதல் போன்ற பணிகள் இவ்வமைப்பு செய்து வந்தது.[7][8][9] மேலும் இவ்வமைப்பு இந்தியாவின் அணுசக்தி திட்டங்களின் பாதுகாப்பிலும் கவனம் செலுத்துகிறது.[10][11][12][13]
