பேசுஉற்ற இன்சொல் பிறிது என்க - ஈசற்கு
With walls and towers were girdled round:
நல்லோன் எறி சிலையோ நன்னுதால் ஒண்கரும்பு
And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills,
வில்லோன் மலரோ விருப்பு. 2
Where blossomed many an incense-bearing tree;
And here were forests ancient as the hills,
Enfolding sunny spots of greenery.
