எண்ணிம ஆவணச் சுட்டி: திருத்தங்களுக்கு இடையிலான வேறுபாடு

'''எண்ணிம ஆவணச் சுட்டி''' (''digital object identifier'') அல்லது எ.ஆ.சு. ([[ஆங்கிலம்|ஆ]]:'''DOI''') என்பது ஒரு [[சரம் (கணினியியல்)|உருச் சரமாகும்]]. இது எண்ணிம முறையில் உள்ள [[எண்ணிம ஆவணம்|ஆவணங்கள்]] அல்லது பொருள்களைத் தனித்துவமாக சுட்டிட பயன்படும் சுட்டியாகும். இணைந்துள்ள ஆவணத்தின் [[மேநிலைத்மேனிலைத் தரவு]]கள் எ.ஆ.சு பெயருடன் சேமிக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த மேநிலைத்மேனிலைத் தரவுகளில் ஆவணம் சேமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள இடம், [[உரலி]] போன்றவை, குறிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். ஓர் ஆவணத்திற்கான உரலியும் பிற மேநிலைமேனிலை தரவுகளும் மாறலாம்; ஆனால் எ.ஆ.சு மாறாது நிலைத்திருக்கும். எனவே எளிய உரலிகள் மூலம் சுட்டப்படுவதை விட எ.ஆ.சு மூலமாக தொடர்புகள் இணைக்கப்படும்போது அவை நிலையாக இருக்கும். உரலி மாறினால் பதிப்பித்தவர் மேநிலைத்மேனிலைத் தரவுகளில் மட்டுமே மாற்றங்கள் மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டியிருக்கும்.<ref>{{cite book|author=Witten, Ian H., David Bainbridge and David M.
