==Plotகதை==
கதிர்வேல் ([[ராம்கி (நடிகர்)]]) தனது நண்பன் சுப்பிரமணி([[லிவிங்ஸ்டன் (நடிகர்)]])யுடன் தங்கியிருப்பதற்காக நகரத்திற்கு வருகிறான். ரேஷ்மா (அனுஷா) ஒரு கல்லூரி மாணவி. அவளின் தாயார் கங்கம்மா இதயமற்ற கொடுங்குணம் கொண்டவள். கல்லூரி மாணவனான ராகுல்([[குணால்]]), ரேஷ்மாவை பார்த்தவுடன் காதலிக்கிறான். ரேஷ்மாவும் அவனைக் காதலிக்கிறாள். ஆனால் தன் தாயிடமிருந்து ராகுலைக் காப்பாற்றுவதற்காக அவனைத் தவிர்க்கிறாள். முடிவில் அவன் காதலை ஏற்றுக் கொள்கிறாள். இது கங்கம்மாவிற்கு தெரிந்தவுடன் ராகுலை, கதிர்வேல் மற்றும் சுப்பிரமணியின் முன்னிலையில் அடித்து படுகாயமடையச் செய்கிறாள். கதிர்வேலும் சுப்பிரமணியும் ராகுலை அருகிலிருந்த மருத்துவமனைக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்கின்றனர். ரேஷ்மா சம்பவ இடத்தில் இருந்தும் உதவாத கதிர்வேலைப் பார்த்து இழிவாகப் பேசுகிறாள். கதிர்வேல் தனக்கு நடந்த சோகமான முன்கதையை ரேஷ்மாவிற்கு கூறுகிறான். அதில், கதிர்வேல் ரேஷ்மாவின் சகோதரி மீனாட்சி (சிந்தூரி)யைக் காதலித்ததாகவும், அதனால் கோபமடைந்த அவளின் தாயார் கங்கம்மா தன்னைக் கொல்ல வரும்பொழுது மீனாட்சியால் தடுக்கப்படு உயிர் பிழைத்ததாகவும் கூறுகிறான். மீனாட்சி இறக்கும் தறுவாயில் தன் தாயைக் கொல்லக்கூடாது என உறுதிமொழி வாங்கியதால் தன்னால் எதுவும் செய்ய இயலவில்லை எனக் கூறுகிறான். ஆனால் ரேஷ்மாவிடம் காதலர்களை சேர்த்து வைப்பதாக உறுதியளிக்கிறான். காதலர்கள் எவ்வாறு ஒன்று சேர்ந்தனர் என்பதுடன் கதை முடிவுக்கு வருகிறது.
Kathirvel ([[ராம்கி (நடிகர்)]]) comes to the city to live with his friend Subramani ([[லிவிங்ஸ்டன் (நடிகர்)|Livingston]]). While Reshma (Anusha) is a soft-spoken college student, her mother Gangamma is a heartless lady rowdy. Rahul ([[குணால்|Kunal]]), a college student, falls in love with Reshma at the first sight. Reshma also loves him but to save Rahul's life, she tries to avoid him. Finally, Reshma accepts his love. Gangamma, knowing their love affair, hurts heavily Rahul in front of Kathirvel and Subramani and they reached Rahul to the nearby hospital. Reshma insults Kathirvel for being passive during the attack and Kathirvel tells his tragic past to Reshma. In the past, Kathirvel was in love with Reshma's sister Meenakshi (Sindhuri). They So Gangamma tried to kill Kathirvel but Meenakshi intervened and was accidentally by her mother. Before her death, Kathirvel promised Meenakshi to not kill her mother. Kathirvel is now determined to unite the lovers. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.
