சுடுமண் பாண்டம் (Terracotta, terra cotta or terra-cotta (ஒலிப்பு [ˌtɛrraˈkɔtta]; இத்தாலிய மொழி: "சுட்ட மண்",[2] from the Latin terra cocta),[3] ஒருவகை மென்மையான களிமண்ணைக் கொண்டு உருவம் செய்து பின் அதனை சூளையில் சுட்டு வடிவத்தை கெட்டிப்படுத்துவர்.[4] சுடுமண் பாண்டங்களால் மட்பாண்டங்கள், அரச முத்திரைகள், வரலாற்று குறிப்புகள், கடவுட் சிலைகள், விலங்குகளின் சிற்பங்கள், கட்டுமான மேற்கூரையின் ஓடுகள், செங்கற்கள், பூந்தொட்டிகள், விளக்குகள், கழிவு நீர் குழாய்கள் மற்றும் கட்டுமான பொருட்கள் செய்ய பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது.[5] கிமு 2,000 ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர், உருளை வடிவ சுடுமண் பாண்டங்களில் சுமேரியர்கள் ஆப்பெழுத்துகளில் தங்கள் வரலாற்றுக் குறிப்புகளை எழுதி வைத்துள்ளனர். மேலும் சுடுமண் பாண்டத்தில் சுமேரியக் கடவுளர்கள், சுமேரிய மன்னர்களின் உருவச் சிற்பங்கள் உருவாக்கினர்.
கி.மு. 210 காலத்திய முதலாவது சீனச் சக்கரவர்த்தி சின் ஷி ஹுவாங்கின் போர் வீரர்களைச் சித்தரிக்கும் சுடுமட்சிலைப் படை சிற்பங்கள் சாங்சி மாகாணத்திலுள்ள சிய்யான் என்னுமிடத்தின் லின்டோங் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ளூர் விவசாயி ஒருவரால் 1974 இல் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது. [6]
