அன்னா மேரி பவுவியேர் பீட்டர்சன்
அன்னா மேரி பவுவியேர் பீட்டர்சன் (Hannah Mary Bouvier Peterson) (1811-1870) அறிவியலிலும் வானியலிலும் சமையற்களையிலும் நூல்கள் எழுதியுள்ளார்.[1] பெரும்பாலான தன் நூல்களைப் பெயரில்லாமலோ தன் இளமைக்காலப் பெயரிலோ எழுதினார். பவுவியேரின் அறிந்த வானியல்: அல்லது, விண்ணக ஆய்வுக்கோர் அறிமுகம், "பள்ளிகள், குடும்பங்கள், தனியாகப் பயிலும் மாணவர்கள் ஆகியோருக்கானவை" ஆகிய நூல்கள் அமெரிக்காவிலும் இங்கிலாந்திலும் பல பதிப்புகளைக் கண்டுள்ளன. இவை மிக உயர்வாகப் பாராட்டப்பட்டன. இவரது கணவரால் எழுதப்பட்டதாகக் கருதப்படும் அறிந்த அறிவியல் நூலும் பரவலாக அறியப்பட்டதும் பள்ளிகளிலும் தேசியச் சமையல் நூல், இளம்மனைவியின் சமையல் நூல் போன்ற சமையல் நூல்களிலும் எடுத்தாளப்பட்டதுமாக விளங்கியது. இவை பரவலாக மறுபத்திப்பு கண்டன. இவரது நூல்கள் அமெரிக்க வாசிப்பளர்களைக் கவனத்தில் கொண்டு எழுதப்பட்டன ஆகும்.
