சையத் அப்துல் லத்தீப்
சையத் அப்துல் லத்தீப் (Syed Abdul Latif) ஓர் இந்திய எழுத்தாளராவார். ஆங்கில இலக்கியத்திற்கு இவர் பங்களித்தார். இந்தோ-மத்தியகிழக்கு பண்பாட்டு ஆய்வுகள் மற்றும் ஐதராபாத்தில் அமைந்திருந்த இசுலாமிய ஆய்வுகள் கல்விக்கூடத்தின் தலைவராக இருந்தார். இசுலாமிய கலாச்சாரம் மற்றும் உருது இலக்கியம் பற்றிய பல புத்தகங்களை இவர் எழுதியுள்ளார்.[1] தி மைண்ட் அல்-குர்ஆன் பில்ட்சு,[2] குர்ஆனின் அடிப்படைக் கருத்துக்கள்,[3] குர்ஆனின் தொடக்க அத்தியாயம்,[4] மற்றும் இந்தியாவின் கலாச்சார வரலாற்றின் காலக்கோடு[5] போன்றவையும் இவரது படைப்புகளில் அடங்கும். இந்திய அரசாங்கம் 1970 ஆம் ஆண்டு சையத் லத்தீப்புக்கு நாட்டின் மூன்றாவது உயர்ந்த விருதான பத்மபூசண் விருதை வழங்கி சிறப்பித்தது.[6] இவருக்கு மரியாதை செலுத்தும் குரானிய மற்றும் பிற பண்பாட்டு ஆய்ய்வுகளுக்கான சையத் அப்துல் லத்தீப் அறக்கட்டளை இசுலாமிய கலாச்சாரம் குறித்த பல புத்தகங்களை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.[7][8][9]
