வாரிஸ் அலி ஷா

இந்திய சூபித் துறவி

வாரிஸ் அலி ஷா (Waris Ali Shah) (1817-1905) என்பவர் இந்திய மாநிலமான பீகாரின் பாராபங்கி மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள தேவாவைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு சூபித் துறவியும், வார்சி சூபி ஒழுங்கின் நிறுவனரும் ஆவார். இவர் மேற்கில் பரவலாகப் பயணம் செய்து, மக்களை தனது ஆன்மீக ஒழுங்கில் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டார். இவர் ஹஸ்ரத் இமாம் உசேனின் 26 வது தலைமுறையைச் சேர்ந்தவர்.[2] இவரது தர்கா இந்தியாவின் தேவாவில் உள்ளது. [3] [4] இவர், சிறு வயதிலேயே ஒரு மத வாழ்க்கையைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கொண்டார்.[5]

வாழ்க்கை தொகு

"இசுலாமிய விமர்சனமும் முஸ்லிம் இந்தியாவும்" என்ற புத்தகத்தில் (கிராஸ் மறுபதிப்பு, 1971), இயேசு வாழ்ந்தபடியே வாரிஸ் அலி ஷா தனது வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்ந்ததாகக் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.[6]

இவர் பல முறை யாத்திரைக்காக மக்கா சென்றுள்ளார்.[7] ஐரோப்பாவில் தனது பயணத்தின் போது, இவர் துருக்கி சுல்தானையும், பெர்லினில் பிஸ்மார்க்கையும் சந்தித்தார்.[8] இவர் இங்கிலாந்து சென்று ஐக்கிய இராச்சியத்தின் விக்டோரியா மகாராணியையும் ஒரு பார்வையாளராக சந்தித்தார்.[9]

இவர், இந்திய முஸ்லிம் அறிஞரும், எழுத்தாளருமான அப்துல் பாரியின் நண்பராக இருந்தார்.[10]

இறப்பு தொகு

இவர் ஏப்ரல் 5, 1905 அன்று இறந்தார் (29 முகர்ரம் 1323 ஹிஜ்ரி ஆண்டு ).[11]

சூஃபி ஒழுங்கு தொகு

வாரிஸ் அலி ஷா சூபித்துவத்தின் கதிரியா ஒழுங்கைச் சேர்ந்தவர். [12] இவர் ஒரு தாராளவாத பார்வையைக் கொண்டிருந்தார். இவரைப் பின்பற்றுபவர்களுக்கு சூஃபித்துவத்தைப் பின்பற்ற அனுமதித்தார். ஒருவர் இசுலாத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டால் பெயர்கள் மாற்றப்படக்கூடாது என்பது இவரது கொள்கையாகும். [13]

இவருக்கு பல மதங்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் சீடர்களாக இருந்தனர்.[14]

நினைவு நாள் தொகு

இவரது தந்தையான குர்பன் அலி ஷாவின் கல்லறை தேவாவில் உள்ளது.[16] இவரது தந்தையின் நினைவு நாள் விழா, உள்ளூரில் தேவா மேளா என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. இது அக்டோபர்-நவம்பர் மாதங்களில் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. இதில் கிட்டத்தட்ட ஒரு மில்லியன் என்ற அளவில் முஸ்லிம்களும், இந்துக்களும் கலந்து கொள்கின்றனர்.[9] [17] [18] [19]

ஷா தனது தந்தை குர்பன் அலி ஷாவின் நினைவாக இந்த நிகழ்வை ஆரம்பித்ததாக கூறப்படுகிறது. மற்றொரு வருடாந்திர கண்காட்சி சஃபர் முதள் நாள் அன்று இவரது கல்லறையில் நடத்தப்படுகிறது.[20] [21] [22]
