லரிசா (நிலவு)
லரிசா (Larissa, /ləˈrɪsə/ lə-RISS-ə; கிரேக்கம்: Λάρισα), அல்லது நெப்டியூன் VII, என்பது நெப்டியூன் கோளின் ஐந்தாவது மிகக்கிட்டவான உள்ளக துணைக்கோள் ஆகும். கிரேக்கத் தொன்மையியலில் போசீடானின் காதலி லரிசாவின் பெயர் இத்துணைக்கோளுக்கு இடப்பட்டது.

கண்டுபிடிப்பு தொகு
இத்துணைக்கோள் முதன் முதலாக 1981 ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 24 இல் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது.[6]. இதற்கு ஆரம்பத்தில் எஸ்/1981 என் 1 எனப் பெயரிடப்பட்டு 1981 மே 29 இல் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.[7] 1989 ஆம் ஆண்டில் வொயேஜர் 2 விண்கலம் நெப்டியூனுக்குக் கிட்டவாகச் சென்ற போது அதன் சுற்றுப்பாதையில் இந்த நிலைவை மட்டுமே அவதானித்து இதன் இருப்பை உறுதிப்படுத்தியது.[8] 1991 செப்டம்பர் 16 இல் இதற்கு லரிசா என்ற பெயர் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.[9]
இயல்புகள் தொகு
நெப்டியூனின் நான்காவது பெரிய துணைக்கோள் இதுவாகும். லரிசா பெரும் விண்கல் வீழ்ந்த பள்ளமாக சீரற்ற வடிவைக் கொண்டுள்ளது.[10] இதன் சுற்றுப்பாதை வட்டமாக இருந்தாலும், சீரற்றதாக உள்ளது. இது மிக மெதுவாக உள்நோக்கி சுழலுகின்றது. இதனால் இது காலப்போக்கில் நெப்டியூனின் வளிமண்டலத்தில் மோதலாம் அல்லது கோள் வளையங்களாக உடையலாம் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
