ஜார்ஜ் புஃலர்

பேராசிரியர் ஜோகன் ஜார்ஜ் புஃலர் (Johann Georg Bühler) (19 சூலை 1837 –8 ஏப்ரல் 1898) பண்டைய சமசுகிருதம், பிராகிருதம், பாரசீகம், சொராட்டிரியம், அரபு, கிரேக்கம் மற்றும் லத்தீன் போன்ற மொழிகளை கற்றறிந்த ஜெர்மானியப் பேரரறிஞர் ஆவார். மேலும் இவர் இந்து சமய சட்ட நூற்களான மனுதரும சாத்திரம் போன்ற தர்மசாத்திரங்களை ஆங்கில மொழியில் மொழிபெயர்த்தவரும் ஆவார். இவர் ஒரு இந்தியவியல் அறிஞர் ஆவார். இவர் பண்டைய இந்து சமய சட்டம் மற்றும் சடங்குகளின் நூல்களான மனுதரும சாத்திரம், ஆபஸ்தம்ப தர்மசூத்திரம், வாசிஷ்டம், கௌதம சூத்திரம், போதாயன சூத்திரம் போன்ற சமசுகிருத நூல்களை ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்த்தார்.
