About me
I am from Kolkata, India. I did my B.A and M.A in English Literature from Delhi University and Jamia Millia Islamia respectively. In my previous roles, I gained experience in public relations, content marketing, management communications, and translations. I am passionate about technology and its role in elevating knowledge systems. I am also studying cyber law and intellectual property rights law. Languages known: fluency in Bangla, Hindi, and English, with working knowledge of Punjabi, Tibetic, and Nepali.
My work
I joined the Movement Strategy and Governance team in October 2021 as a community facilitator for the South Asi an region to proactively support the affiliates and volunteers tirelessly working to actualize the vision of creating "the sum of all human knowledge". The goal is to outreach, engage in meaningful conversations, and liaise/support the involved stakeholders: the Wikimedia Foundation and the affiliates and volunteers. My time zone is UTC +5:30 (India).
