எபிரோன்
எபிரோன் (Hebron, அரபு: ⓘ; எபிரேயம்: ⓘ) என்பது [4][5][6][7] மேற்குக் கரையில் அமைந்துள்ள பலத்தீன் நகரம் ஆகும். இது தென் எருசலேமின் 30 km (19 mi) தூரத்தில் அமைந்துள்ளது.

இந்நகர் பிதாப்பிதாக்கள், முதுபெரும் தாய்கள் ஆகியோரின் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்ட இடங்களைக் கொண்டிருப்பதால் மிகவும் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கதாகிறது. இதனால், எருசலேம் நகருக்கு அடுத்ததாக இரண்டாவது புனித நகராக யூதம் கருதுகிறது.[8] ஆபிரகாம் உடன் தொடர்புபட்டிருப்பதால் யூதர், கிறித்தவர், முசுலிம் ஆகியோரால் மதிப்பளிக்கப்பட்ட நகராக உள்ளது.[9] யூதமும் இசுலாமும் இதை புனித நகராகக் கருதுகின்றன.[10][11][12][13]
