ஏ. எல். சுப்ரமணியன்
ஏ. எல். சுப்ரமணியன் (A. L. Subramanian) இந்திய அரசியல்வாதியும் முன்னாள் சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினரும் ஆவார். 1944 ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் மாதம் 5 ஆம் தேதியன்று இவர் பிறந்தார்.
திருநெல்வேலி மாநகரத்தில் 2006[1] முதல் 2011 வரையிலான ஐந்தாண்டு காலம், திருநெல்வேலி மாநகர மேயராக இவர் பதவி வகித்தார்.
திருநெல்வேலி (சட்டமன்றத் தொகுதி) சார்பாக திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகம் கட்சி மூலம் சென்னை மாநில சட்டமன்றத் தேர்தல், 1967[2], தமிழ்நாடு சட்டமன்றத் தேர்தல், 1989[3] மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு சட்டமன்றத் தேர்தல், 1996[4] ஆகிய தேர்தல்களின்படி சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் பதவிக்கு மூன்று முறை சுப்ரமணியன் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டார்.
2012ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் மாதம் 26ஆம் நாள் தன்னுடைய 73ஆம் வயதில் உயிர் நீத்தார். இவருக்கு மனைவி, இரண்டு மகள்கள் மற்றும் இரண்டு மகன்கள் உள்ளனர்.[5] இவருடைய மகன்களில் ஒருவரான அ. இல சு. இலட்சுமணன், திருநெல்வேலி திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகம் சார்பில் சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் பதவிக்குத் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டார்.[6][7]
