கரு மெய்இருவித்திலி(core eudicots) என்பது மெய்இருவித்திலித் தாவரங்களின் இரு பெரும் பிரிவுகளில் ஒன்றாகும். அடி மெய்இருவித்திலி(basal eudicots) என்பது மற்றொரு பெரும் பிரிவாகும்.[3] அடி மெய்இருவித்திலிகளின் முறைசார்பற்ற பெயராக புறமரபுவழித் தொகுதி(paraphyletic) ஆகும். கரு மெய்இருவித்திலித் தொகுதியை, ஒற்றை மரபுவழித் தொகுதி (monophyletic) என்பர்.[4] 2010 ஆம் ஆண்டின் ஆய்வுப்படி இந்த கரு மெய்இருவித்தி அல்லது ஒற்றை மரபுவழித் தொகுதித் தாவரங்கள் மேலும் இரு மரபுவழி(Gunnerales & Pentapetalae) கிளைகளாகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.[5]
