சாளுக்கியர் குலம்
சாளுக்கியர் குலம் (Chalukiya) வட இந்தியாவின் குர்சார் சமூகத்தின் பரவலான பழங்குடி இனம் மற்றும் குலமாகும்.[1][2][3]. சாளுக்யர்[4] சௌலுக்கியர்,[5] சாலோக்கு[6] என்ற பெயர்களாலும் இவர்கள் அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். சிந்து மற்றும் பலுசிசுத்தான் உட்பட்ட சில பகுதிகளில் இவர்கள் சோலங்கி[7][8] அல்லது சோலங்கியர்கள் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.[9] இவர்கள் முதலில் சமண மற்றும் இந்து மதத்தைப் பின்பற்றினார்கள். பின்னர் இசுலாமியர்களானார்கள். சோலாங்கிப் பேரரசு, மேலைச் சாளுக்கியப் பேரரசு மற்றும் கிழக்கு சாளுக்கிய வம்சங்களை இவர்கள் பொது ஊழி காலம் 542 முதல் 1244 வரை நிறுவி ஆட்சி செய்தனர்.[10][11] சாளுக்கியர்கள் குசராத்து, இராசத்தான், மத்தியப் பிரதேசம், உத்தரப் பிரதேசம், மகாராட்டிரம், பாக்கித்தான் மாகாணங்களான சிந்து, பலுசிசுத்தான் மற்றும் பஞ்சாப் உள்ளிட்ட பல மாநிலங்களில் வசிக்கிறார்கள்.

Modern Gujarat came to be so called after the establishment of the Chaulukya sovereignty there. Hence the Chaulukyas were ethnically connected with the Gurjara(Gurjar) tribe... the Pratiharas, the Chalukyas, the Paramaras and the Chahamanas formed the agnikula (fire-clans). Hence all the members of the agnikula were offshoots of the Gurjara (Gurjar) tribe.
