சுப்பிரமணியன் சந்திரசேகர்: திருத்தங்களுக்கு இடையிலான வேறுபாடு

பால்வெளி வீதியில் நட்சத்திரங்கள் பொருட்களின் நகர்த்தலை எவ்வாறு பகிர்ந்து கொள்கின்றன என்று கண்டுபிடித்தார். இதன் மூலம் நட்சத்திரகளின் சுற்றுச்சூழல்ப் புரிந்து கொள்ளமுடிந்தது. மேலும் ஏன் வானம் நீலநிறமாக இருக்கிறது என்பதைக் கண்டுபிடித்தார்.<ref> இந்திய விஞ்ஞானிகள் யார்? எவர்?, கானதாசன் 2004,இரவிக்குமார்பதிப்பகம்</ref> இதனால் பல உயரிய விருதுகளை சந்திரசேகர் பெற்றார். நட்சத்திர ஆராய்ச்சிக்காக அறிவியலுக்காக 1983 ஆம் ஆண்டு நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றார். 1995 ஆம் வருடம் ஆகஸ்ட் மாதம் 21 ஆம் தேதி இவர் மரணமடைந்தார்.

Chandrasekhar had published around 380 papers<ref>{{cite web | url=http://www-old.ias.ac.in/jarch/jaa/17/269-298.pdf | title=Publications by S. He wrote his first paper in 1928 when he was still an undergraduate student and last paper was in 1995. The [[University of Chicago Press]] published the papers of Chandrasekhar in six volumes.
