Usage

{{Party index link\|சுயேச்சை}} gives	[[சுயேச்சை\|வார்ப்புரு:சுயேச்சை/meta/shortname]]
{{Party index link\|சுயேச்சை\|border=darkgray}} gives	[[சுயேச்சை\|வார்ப்புரு:சுயேச்சை/meta/shortname]]

Parameter	Description
1	The political party's name. If no color is returned, verify the party is listed at Module:Political party.
2	An optional manual name to use. If `\|2=` is not used, the template retrieves the short name from the Module:Political party entry.
border	An optional border color. The default is black.
