கத்தரீன் அரண்மனை
கத்தரீன் அரண்மனை (ரஷ்ய மொழி: Екатерининский дворец) என்பது ரஷ்யாவின் சார் மன்னர்களின் கோடை கால வாழிடம் ஆகும். இவ்வரண்மனை சென் பீட்டர்ஸ்பேர்க் நகரில் இருந்து 25 கி.மீ தென்-கிழக்கே புஷ்கின் நகரில் அமைந்துள்ளது.[1][2][3]
வரலாறு தொகு
ரஷ்யாவின் அரசி முதலாம் கத்தரீனாவின் வேண்டுகோளுக்கிணங்க 1717 ஆம் ஆண்டில் ஜெர்மனியக் கட்டடக் கலைஞரான ஜொஹான்-பிரைட்றிக் பிரோன்ஸ்டீன் என்பவர் இக்கட்டிடத்தைக் கட்டினார். பின்னர் 1743 இல் இது புதிப்பிக்கப்பட்டது. எனினும் தனது தாயாரின் இம்மாளிகை மிகவும் பழையதெனக் கருதிய அவரது மகள் எலிசபெத் அரசி கட்டிடக் கலைஞரான பார்த்தலோமியோ ராஸ்ட்ரெல்லி (Bartolomeo Rastrelli) என்பவரிடம் இக்கட்டிடத்தை அழித்து புதிய மாளிகை அமைக்க வேண்டினார். நான்கு வருடங்களின் பின்னர் ஜூலை 30 1756 இல் 325 மீட்டர் நீள மாளிகை புதுப் பொலிவுடன் அமைத்து முடிக்கப்பட்டது.
இவ்வரண்மனையில் கிட்டத்தட்ட 100 கிகி தங்கத்தினால் சிலைகள் பல உருவாக்கப்பட்டன. இதன் கூரை முழுவதுமே தங்கத்தினால் ஆக்கப்பட்டதெனக் கூறுவர். மாளிகைக்கு முன்னால் அழகான பூங்கா அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
