சாரா சீகர்
சாரா சீகர் (Sara Seager) (பிறப்பு: 21 ஜூலை 1971) ஒரு கனடிய அமெரிக்க வானியலாளரும் கோள் அறிவியலாளரும் ஆவார்.[2] இவர் மசாசூசட் தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனத்தில் பேராசிரியராக உள்ளார். இவர் புறச் சூரிய் மண்டலக் கோள்களும் அவற்றின் வளிமண்டலங்களும் பற்றிய அய்வுக்காகப் பெயர்பெற்றவர்ரித்தலைப்புகளில் இவர் இரண்டு பாடநூல்களை எழுதியுள்ளார்.[5][6] Popular Science,[7] Discover Magazine,[8] Nature,[9] TIME Magazine இதழ்களில் ஆராய்ச்சிக்காக பெயரும் புகழும் பெற்றவர்.[10] இவர் புறவெளிக் கோள்களின் வளிமண்டல வேதியியல் அடையாளங்களைக் கண்டுபிடித்தமைக்காகவும் அக்கோள்களின் கோள்கடப்புகளை நோக்கீடு செய்ய குறைந்த விலை விண்வெளி நோக்கீட்டகங்களை வடிவமைத்தமைக்காகவும் மெக்கார்த்தர் ஆய்வுநல்கை பெற்றவர்.[11]

தொகுசீகர் கனடா, ஒன்டாரியோ, டொரான்டோவில் பிறந்த யூதர் ஆவார்.[2][12][13] ரிவரது தந்தையார் மருத்துவர் டேவிட் சீகர் ஆவார். இவருக்கு தன் 19 ஆம் அகவையிலேயே தலைமுடி கோட்டிவிட்டது. இவர் முடிமாற்ரத் துறயின் முன்னோடியும் உலக முடிமாற்ர வல்லுனர்களில் ஒருவரும் ஆவார். இவர் சீகர் முடிமாற்ற மையத்தையும் நிறுவினார்.[14][15]
