பிரெஞ்சு வானியலாளர்
சார்லசு மெசியர் (Charles Messier) (பிரெஞ்சு மொழி: [me.sje]; 26 ஜூன் 1730 – 1ஏப்பிரல் 1817) ஒரு பிரெஞ்சு வானியலாளர் ஆவார். இவர் தனது ஒண்முகில்கள், விண்மீன்கொத்துகளின் அட்டவணைக்காகப் பெயர்பெற்றார். இது இப்போது 110 "மெசியர் வான்பொருள்கள்" எனப்படுகின்றன.இந்த அட்டவணையின் நோக்கம், வானியலாளர்களுக்கு குறிப்பாக வால்வெள்ளி வேட்டையருக்கு வானில் உள்ள நிலையான, நிலைபெயரும் மங்கலான கட்புலப் பொருள்களைப் பிரித்தறியச் செய்வதேயாகும்.
