88ஆவது அகாதமி விருதுகள் விழா (ஆஸ்கார்கள் என்று பொதுவாக அழைக்கப்படுகிறது), 2015 ஆம் ஆண்டில் வெளிவந்தத் திரைப்படங்களில் சிறந்தவற்றைப் பாராட்டுவதற்காக பிப்ரவரி 28, 2016 அன்று நடந்தது,[1][2] 24 பிரிவுகளில் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டது.[3][4] கிரிசு ரொக் இவ்விழாவினை இரண்டாவது முறையாக நடத்தினார்.[5]
மேட் மேக்ஸ்: புயூரி ரோட் ஆறு விருதுகளை வென்றது. The Revenant நியமிக்கப்பட்ட 12 விருதுகளில் மூன்று விருதுகளை வென்றது. Best Picture விருதினை ஸ்பாட்லைட் திரைப்படம் வென்றது.[6]
