மேரி கமலா குணசீலன்
மேரி கமலா குணசீலன் இலங்கைத் தமிழர் ஆவார். இவர் ஒரு ஆசிரியர், அரசியல்வாதி மற்றும் மாகாண கவுன்சிலர் ஆவார். இவர் அரசரத்தினம் வித்யாலயத்தின் துணை முதல்வராக இருந்தார்.[1]

மேரி கமலா குணசீலன் 2013 ஆம் ஆண்டு இலங்கையில் நடைபெற்ற மாகாண சபை தேர்தலில் தமிழ்த் தேசியக் கூட்டமைப்பு சார்பாக முல்லைத்தீவு மாவட்டத்தில் போட்டியிட்டு தோல்வியை தழுவினார்.[2][3] ஆயினும்கூட இவர் வடக்கு மாகாண சபைக்கு தமிழ்த் தேசியக் கூட்டமைப்பின் இரண்டு நியமன மாகாண சபை உறுப்பினர்களில் ஒருவராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். [4][5] தேர்தலுக்கு பின் இவர் இலங்கையின் வட மாகாண அரசின் கல்வி, கலாச்சாரம் மற்றும் விளையாட்டு துறை அமைச்சருக்கு நூலகங்கள், அருங்காட்சியகங்கள் மற்றும் கலாச்சாரம் சார்ந்த பணிகளுக்கு உதவ அமர்த்தப்பட்டார். [6] 2013 ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் மாதம் 11 ஆம் நாள் யாழ்ப்பாணம் நகரில் உள்ள வீரசிங்கம் மண்டபத்தில் முதலமைச்சர் க. வி. விக்னேஸ்வரன் முன்னிலையில் வட மாகாண சபை உறுப்பினராக பதவி பிரமாணம் செய்து கொண்டார்.[7][8]
