ஹெராக்கிள்ஸ் (Heracles) (/ˈhɛrəkliːz/ HERR-ə-kleez; கிரேக்கம்: Ἡρακλῆς, Hēraklês, Glory/Pride of Hēra,[1] (Ἀλκαῖος, Alkaios) (/ælˈsiːəs/) or Alcides[2] (Ἀλκείδης, Alkeidēs) (/ælˈsaɪdiːz/) கிரேக்கத் தொன்மவியலில் கூறப்படும் உடல் திறன் மிக்க வீரன் ஆவார். உரோம மற்றும் நவீன மேற்கு நாடுகளில், இவர் ஹெர்குலிசு என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்.

கிரேக்கக் கடவுள் சியுசு - அல்சிமெனி தம்பதியர்களுக்கு பிறந்தவர் உடல் வளுமிக்க ஹெராக்கிலியஸ் ஆவார். இவர் மனிதகுலத்தின் தெய்வீக பாதுகாவலர் மற்றும் உடற்பயிற்சிக் கூடத்தின் புரவலர் என கிரேக்கத் தொன்மவியலில் கூறப்படுகிறது. இவரின் உடன்பிறந்தவர்களில் முக்கியமானவர்கள் அப்பல்லோ மற்றும் ஆர்ட்டெமிசு கடவுள்கள் ஆவார்.[3]
ஜீயஸின் பொறாமை கொண்ட மற்றொரு மனைவியான ஹேரா செய்த தந்திரத்தால் தன் மகன் யூரிஸ்டீயஸ் அரசன் ஆனான். ஹெராக்கிள்ஸ் குழந்தையாக தொட்டிலில் கிடந்த போது, ஹேரா இரண்டு பாம்புகளை ஏவி கொல்ல முயன்றாள். ஆனால் அப்பாம்புகளை இயற்கையிலேயே பலம் மிக்க குழந்தையான ஹெராக்கிள்ஸ் தனது கையால் நசுக்கிக் கொன்றான்.
