அகனேசு மேரி கிளார்க்
அகனேசு மேரி கிளார்க் (Agnes Mary Clerke) (10 பிப்ரவரி 1842 – 20 ஜனவரி 1907) ஒரு வானியலாளரும் வானியல் எழுத்தாளரும் ஆவார். இவர் அயர்லாந்து, கவுண்டி கார்க், சுகிபெரீனில் பிறந்தார். இலண்டனில் இறந்தார்.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

குடும்பம்
தொகுஇவர் சுகிபெரீனில் வங்கி மேலாளராகவிருந்த ஜான் வில்லியம் கிளார்க்கின்(அண். 1814–1890) மகள் ஆவார்.[8] இவரது தாயார் நீதிமன்ற நடுவரின் பதிவாளராக இருந்தவரின் மகளாகப் பிறந்த கேத்தரீன் மேரி தியேசி(பிறப்பு: 1819) ஆவார்.[9][10] இவருக்கு இரு உடன்பிறப்புகள் உண்டு. இவரது அக்கா எலன் மேரி 1940 இல் பிறந்தார். இவரது தம்பியானஅவுபிரே புனித ஜான் 1843 இல் பிறந்தார்.[11] இவர்கள் மூவருமே வீட்டிலேயே கல்வி பயின்றனர்.[11]

நிலாவின் கிளார்க் குழிப்பள்ளம் இவரது பெயரைத் தாங்கியுள்ளது.[12]

She also wrote 55 articles for the Edinburgh Review, mainly on subjects connected with astrophysics, and articles for the Dictionary of National Biography, the பிரித்தானிக்கா கலைக்களஞ்சியம் and the Catholic Encyclopedia, and several other periodicals. Her articles in the ninth edition (1875–89) of the Britannica included Galileo Galilei, Alexander von Humboldt, Johannes Kepler, Antoine Lavoisier and the zodiac.[14]
