தேவநாராயணன்
தேவநாராயணன் (Devnarayan) இந்தியாவின் இராஜஸ்தானைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு நாட்டுப்புற தெய்வம். இவர் விஷ்ணுவின் அவதாரமாக, பெரும்பாலும் இராஜஸ்தான் மற்றும் வடமேற்கு மத்தியப் பிரதேசத்தில் வழிபடப்படுகிறார்.[1][2]பாரம்பரியத்தின் படி, இவர் விக்ரம் நாட்காட்டி 968 (கி.பி.911) இல் இந்து நாட்காட்டியில் மாசி மாதத்தின் பிரகாசமான பாதி (சுக்ல சப்தமி) ஏழாவது நாளில் ஸ்ரீசவாய் போஜ் மற்றும் சாது மாதா ஆகியோருக்குப் பிறந்தார்.[3] ஒரு பார்வையின் படி வரலாற்று தேவநாராயணன் விக்ரம் நாட்காட்டியின் 10 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டைச் சேர்ந்தவர். மற்றொரு கருத்துப்படி, இவர் 1200-1400 (விக்ரம் நாட்காட்சி சகாப்தம்) இடையே வாழ்ந்தார்.[4]

தேவநாராயணன் காவியம் என்பது இராஜஸ்தானின் மிக நீண்ட மற்றும் மிகவும் பிரபலமான மத வாய்வழி கதைகளில் ஒன்றாகும். [5] தேவநாராயணன் காவியம் 'தற்காப்புக் காவியங்கள்' என்ற பிரிவின் கீழ் வகைப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. [6]
