அல்-லாத்
அல்-லாத் (Al-Lat) (அரபு மொழி: اللات, romanized: Al-Lāt, பலுக்கல் [al(i)ˈlaːt(u)]), இசுலாம் சமயம் தோன்றுவதற்கு முன்னர் பண்டைய அண்மை கிழக்கின் அரேபிய தீபகற்பத்தின் பகுதிகளில், குறிப்பாக, ஹெஜாஸ், வடக்கு அரேபியா மற்றும் சிரியாவின் பல்மைரா பகுதிகளின் செமிடிக் மொழிகள் பேசிய பழங்குடி மக்கள் வழிபட்ட பெண் தெய்வங்களில் ஒருவராவர். [2] போர், அமைதி மற்றும் செழிப்பத்திற்கான தேவதையான அல்-லாத் தெய்வத்தின் மூத்த சகோதரியும், பெண் தேவதையும், விதியின் கடவுளுமான மனாத் ஆவார். இவரது மற்றொரு சகோதரி அல்-உஸ்ஸா வலிமைக்கான பெண் தெய்வம் ஆவார்.[3] இம்மூன்று பெண் தெய்வங்கள் முப்பெரும் தேவியர் எனப்பட்டனர்.

இசுலாமிற்கு பின் தொகு
அரேபிய தீபகற்பத்தில் கிபி ஏழாம் நூற்றாண்டில் இசுலாம் சமயம் வளர்ச்சிய அடைந்த போது, சிறு தெய்வ வழிபாடுகள் நிறுத்தப்பட்டதுடன், அத்தெய்வங்களுக்குரிய உருவச்சிலைகளும், கோயில்களும் அழிக்கப்பட்டது.
தற்காலத் தாக்கங்கள் தொகு
சிரியா நாட்டின் பல்மைரா நகரத்தின் தொன்மை வாய்ந்த அல்-லாத் கோயிலின் சிங்க வாகன சிற்பத்தை 2015-இல் இசுலாமிய அரசு தீவிரவாதிகளால் கடுமையாகச் சேதப்படுத்தப்பட்டது.[5] தற்போது இச்சிங்கச் சிற்பத்தை மறுசீரமைத்து திமிஷ்குவில் உள்ள தேசிய அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.[5]
