போன் பௌத்தம்

போன் பௌத்தம் (Bon, also spelled Bön)[2] (Tibetan: བོན་, Wylie: bon, Lhasa dialect IPA: [pʰø̃̀]), திபெத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்ட ஒரு பௌத்தப் பிரிவாகும். போன் பௌத்தம், திபெத்திய பௌத்தத்திலிருந்து சிறிது வேறுபட்டு, தனித்தன்மையுடன் விளங்குகிறது. திபெத்தில் போன் பௌத்தம் 11ம் நூற்றாண்டில் நிறுவப்பட்டது.[3] மேலும் போன் பௌத்த தாந்ரீகச் சமயச் சாத்திரங்கள் பத்மசம்பவர் மற்றும் டாகினியை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டதாகும்.[4] திபெத் பகுதியில் பௌத்தம் பரவுவதற்கு முன்னிருந்த பழைமையான சமயம் போன் ஆகும். பின்னர் பௌத்த சமயத் தாக்கத்தின் விளைவாக புதிய சமயமாக தன்னை மாற்றிக் கொண்டது.
