மினோவன் நாகரிகம்

மினோவன் நாகரிகம் (Minoan civilization) கிரீட் தீவில் வளர்ந்தோங்கிய வெண்கலக் காலத்திய நாகரிகம் ஆகும். இது கிறித்து பிறப்பிற்கு முந்தைய 27ஆம் நூற்றாண்டிலிருந்து 15ஆம் நூற்றாண்டு வரை தழைத்தோங்கியிருந்தது. இருபதாம் நூற்றாண்டின் துவக்கத்தில் பிரித்தானிய அகழ்வாராய்ச்சியாளர் ஆர்தர் ஈவான்சு இதைக் கண்டறிந்து வெளிப்படுத்தினார். புகழ்பெற்ற வரலாற்று ஆசிரியர் வில் துராண்ட் தமது வரலாற்று நூல் த ஸ்டோரி ஆஃப் சிவிலைசேசன், பாகம் இரண்டில் குறிப்பிடுகையில் ஐரோப்பிய சங்கிலியில் இதுவே முதல் தொடுப்பு எனக் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். கிரீட்டின் முதல் குடியேற்றம் கி.மு 128,000 இலேயே, மத்திய கற்காலத்தில், ஏற்பட்டிருக்கலாம் என மதிப்பிடப்படுகிறது. இருப்பினும், கி.மு 5000 ஆண்டுக்குப் பின்னரே மேம்பட்ட வேளாண்மைக்கான அறிகுறிகள் காணப்படுகின்றன.

கிரீட்டில் வெண்கலக் காலம் கி.மு.2700 ஆம் ஆண்டளவிலேயே ஆரம்பமானது. கிறிஸ்துவிற்கு முன் மூன்றாவது நூற்றாண்டு காலப்பகுதியில் இத்தீவுகளில் இருந்த சில பிரதேசங்கள் வர்த்தகம் மற்றும் கைத்தொழிலின் மத்திய நிலையங்களாக மாறின. இது தொடர்ந்து தலைமை நடவடிக்கைகளில் பயிற்சி பெற்று, தங்கள் செல்வாக்கை விரிவுபடுத்த உயர் வகுப்பினருக்கு உதவியது. ஆரம்ப வெண்கலக் காலத்தில் (கி.மு.3500 முதல் கி.மு.2600 வரை) இருந்து கிரீட் மீது மினோன் நாகரிக மக்கள் பெருந்தன்மையையும் வாக்குறுதியையும் காட்டினர்.

மினோவன் நாகரிகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த கலைப்படைப்புக்கள் ஹெரக்லியோன் அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் காட்சிக்கு உள்ளன. பல படைப்புக்கள் அழிந்துபோன போதிலும் மட்பாண்டங்கள், சுதை ஓவியங்களால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட இடங்கள், கல்லாலான சிற்பங்கள், முத்திரைக் கற்கள் என்பன இன்றும் இருக்கின்றன.

மண்பாண்டக் கைத்தொழில்

ஆரம்ப மினோவன் நாகரிகத்தில் பீங்கான்கள் சுருள்கள், முக்கோணங்கள், வளைந்த கோடுகள், சிலுவைகள், மீன்முள் பொன்ற கருப்பொருள்களிலேயே அமைந்திருந்தன. மத்திய மினோவன் நாகரிக காலத்தில் மீன், கணவாய், பறவைகள், மற்றும் அல்லிகள் போன்ற இயற்கைப் பொருட்களைப் பிரதிபலிக்கும் வடிவமைப்புக்கள் உருவாக்கப்பட்டன. மினோவன் நாகரிகத்தின் இறுதிக் காலப்பகுதிகளில் கணித ரீதியான படைப்புக்களும் உருவாக்கப்பட்டன.
