நடு ஆசியாவிலுள்ள மலைத்தொடர்

பாமிர் மலைகள் (Pamir Mountains) நடு ஆசியாவில் இமயமலையையும் காரகோரம், இந்துகுஷ் மலைத் தொடர்களை இணைக்கும் மலைத்தொடராகும். பாமிர் பீடபூமி, உலகில் மிக உயரத்தில் அமைந்துள்ளதால், பாமிர் பீடபூமியை உலகின் கூரை என்றும் பாமிர் முடிச்சு என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.[1][2] இந்தியா, பாகிஸ்தான் மற்றும் சீனாவின், உலகின் மிக உயரமான இடத்தில் அமைந்த இராணுவப் பாசறைகள் மற்றும் இராணுவ விமான தளங்கள், பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரின் சியாச்சின் மற்றும் அக்சாய் சின் ஆகிய இடங்களில் அமைந்துள்ளது.

அமைவிடம் தொகு

பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரின் அமைவிடத்தைச் சுருங்க விளக்க இயலாதபடி, விவாதத்திற்குரிய பொருளாகவே உள்ளது.[3] பெரும்பாலான பாமிர் மலைத்தொடர்கள் தாஜிக்ஸ்தானின் கோர்னோ-படாக்சான் தன்னாட்சி பிராந்தியத்தியத்தில் அமைந்துள்ளது. பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரின் வடக்கில் கிர்கிஸ்தானின் அலாய் சமவெளியுடனும் மற்றும் தியான் ஷான் மலைத்தொடர்களுடனும், தெற்கே ஆப்கானித்தானின் இந்துகுஷ் மலைத்தொடருடனும், கிழக்கே சீனாவின் கொங்கூர் தாக் மலைத்தொடர்களுடனும் இணைந்து காணப்படுகிறது.[4].

பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரின் மேற்கில் ஏழாயிரம் மீட்டருக்கும் அதிக உயரமுடைய இஸ்மொயில் சொமொனி கொடிமுடி , ஸ்டாலின் கொடிமுடி , லெனின் கொடுமுடி என மூன்று உயரமான கொடிமுடிகள் உள்ளது.[5] பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரின் கிழக்கில், சீனாவின் பகுதியில் 7649 மீட்டர் உயரமுடைய கொங்கூர் தாக் எனும் கொடிமுடி அமைந்துள்ளது.

அண்டார்டிகா மற்றும் ஆர்டிக் துருவப் பகுதிகளுக்கு வெளியே பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரில் அதிக நீளமான உறைபனி மலைகள், பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரில் உள்ளது. அவற்றுள் பெட்சாங்கோ உறைபனிமலைத் தொடர் 77 கிலோ மீட்டர் நீளம் கொண்டது. பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரின் காரகோரம் பகுதியில் சியாச்சென் பனியாறு 76 கிலோ மீட்டர் நீளமும், பிஃபோ பனியாறு 67 கிலோ மீட்டர் நீளமும், பால்தொரோ பனியாறு 63 கிலோ மீட்டர் நீளமும் கொண்டது.

ஆண்டு முழுவதும் பனிபடந்திருக்கும் பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரில் நீண்ட கடுமையான குளிர்காலமும், குறுகிய மிக இதமான வெப்ப காலமும் கொண்டது. ஆண்டிற்கு 130 மில்லி மீட்டர் அளவு பொய்யும் மழையினால், பாமிர் பீடபூமியின் மேய்ச்சல் புல்வெளி நிலங்கள் பயன் அடைகிறது.[6]

பொருளாதாரம் தொகு

பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரின் மேற்கில் நிலக்கரி சுரங்கங்கள் உள்ளது. மேலும் ஆடு வளர்ப்பு தொழில் இப்பகுதியின் முதன்மை வருவாய் ஈட்டித் தரும் தொழிலாக உள்ளது.

ஆய்வுப் பயணம் தொகு

  • 1868 முதல் 1880 முடிய பிரித்தானிய இந்திய ஆட்சியின் போது பாமிர் மலைதொடரின் பஞ்ச் பகுதியை இந்தியர்கள் இரகசியமாக ஆய்வு செய்தனர்.
  • 1871 முதல் 1893 முடிய பல ருசிய நாட்டு இராணுவ-அறிவியலாளர்கள் பாமிர் மலைத்தொடர்கள் குறித்த வரைபடத்தை தயாரித்தனர்.
  • 1892இல் ருசிய நாட்டு இராணுவத்தின் படையணி ஒன்று பாமிர் மலையில் உள்ள முர்காப் மாவட்டத்தில் முகாமிட்டது.
  • 1928இல் சோவியத்-ஜெர்மன் ஆய்வாளர்கள் பாமிரின் பெட்சாங்கோ கொடுமுடியை அளவிட்டு வரைபடம் தயாரித்தனர்.

நான்கு புறங்களிலும் மலைகளால் சூழப்பட்ட பாமிர் மேட்டு நிலம் U வடிவம் கொண்டது. இங்குள்ள உறைபனிகள் உருகும் போது கற்களால் ஆன மேட்டு நிலப்பகுதியாகும்.

பெரிய பாமிர் சமவெளி நிலங்கள் சோர்குல் ஏரியால் சூழப்பட்டது. பெரிய பாமிர் சமவெளியின் கிழக்கில், வாகன் எனுமிடத்திலிருந்து தூரக் கிழக்கில் சிறிய பாமிர் சமவெளி அமைந்துள்ளது.[7]

பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரில் பாமிர் ஆறு தென்மேற்கில் பாய்கிறது.

கண்டுபிடிப்புகள் தொகு

1980ஆம் ஆண்டில் தரமான சுடர் விடும் நவரத்தினக் கற்கள் பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரில் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

பாமிர் நெடுஞ்சாலை உலகில் இரண்டாவது உயரமான பன்னாட்டுச் சாலையாகத் திகழ்கிறது. இந்நெடுஞ்சாலை தாஜிக்ஸ்தானின் துஷான்பே நகரத்திலிருந்து முதல் கிர்கிஸ்தானின் ஓஷ் நகரம் வரை கோர்னோ-படாக்ஷான் தன்னாட்சி பிரதேசம் வழியாகச் செல்கிறது. பாமிர் மலைத்தொடர்களை கடந்து பட்டுப்பாதைகள் செல்கிறது.[8]

சீனாவின் கிழக்கு பாமிர் மலைத் தொடர் மற்றும் தாஜிக்ஸ்தானின் பாமிர் மலைத் தொடர் பகுதிகளில் மலையேற்றப் பயிற்சியாளர்களுக்கு உரிய சுற்றுலா தலமாகும்.[9][10]

கிழக்கின் சீனாவின் பண்டைய தலைநகரம் ஜியாங் நகரத்தையும், மேற்கே கஷ்கர் நகரத்தையும் இணைக்கும், பாமிர் மலைத்தொடர் வழியாகச் செல்லும் 2600 கிலோ மீட்டர் நீளமுள்ள பட்டுப்பாதை வரலாற்று முக்கியத்துவம் பெற்றிருந்த காலத்தில், பல்வேறு ஆக்கிரமிப்புகளுக்கு வழிகோலியது.[11] பாமிர் மலைத்தொடரில் உள்ள சியாச்சின் மற்றும் அக்சாய் சின் பகுதிகளின் உரிமை குறித்து இந்தியா - பாகிஸ்தான் - சீனா நாடுகளுக்கு இடையே தொடர்ந்து சர்ச்சையில் உள்ளது. பாமிர் மலைத்தொடர்களில் சீனா, இந்தியா, உருசியா மற்றும் அமெரிக்கா நாடுகள் தங்கள் இராணுவத்தை நிறுத்தி வைத்துள்ளது.[12][13]
