பெர்பிரின்கியா (Perbrinckia) என்பது இலங்கையில் மட்டுமே காணப்படும் ஜிகேர்சினுசிடே குடும்பத்தின் நன்னீர் நண்டுகளின் பேரினமாகும்.[1] இதற்கு பெர் பிரினிக் நினைவாக இப்பெயரிடப்பட்டது. இதன் இயற்கையான வாழ்விடங்கள் மிதவெப்பமண்டல அல்லது வெப்பமண்டல ஈரமான தாழ் நில காடுகள், மிதவெப்பமண்டல அல்லது வெப்பமண்டல சதுப்புநிலங்கள் மற்றும் ஆறுகள் ஆகும். இப்பேரினம் 14 சிற்றினங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளது.[2] இவற்றில் பெரும்பாலானவை பன்னாட்டு இயற்கைப் பாதுகாப்புச் சங்கத்தின் செம்பட்டியலில் மிக அருகிய இனம் அல்லது அழிவாய்ப்பு இனம் எனச் சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஏனெனில் இவை வாழ்விட இழப்பால் அச்சுறுத்தப்படுகின்றன. ஒரே ஒரு சிற்றினம் மட்டுமே தீவாய்ப்புக் கவலை குறைந்த இனமாக உள்ளது.
