டெல் பராக்

நகர் அல்லது டெல் பராக் (Tell Brak - Nagar, Nawar) பண்டைய அன்மை கிழக்கின் தற்கால சிரியாவில் உள்ள அழிந்து போன பண்டைய நகரம் ஆகும். இப்பண்டைய நகர் நகரம் 130 ஹெக்டேர் பரப்புடன், 40 மீட்டர் உயரம் கொண்ட கோட்டைச் சுவர்களுடன் விளங்கியது.[2] [3] [4]

சிதைந்து போன நகர் இராச்சியத்தின் தொல்லியல் களங்கள், தற்கால சிரியா நாட்டில் பாயும் யூப்பிரடீஸ் ஆற்றின் மேற்கு கரையில், அல் அசகா ஆளுநரகத்தில், காபூர் கிராமத்தில் உள்ளது.

இந்நகரத்தின் உண்மையான பெயர் அறியப்படவில்லை. [5] இதன் தற்போதைய பெயர் டெல் பராக் ஆகும். [6]கிமு மூன்றாவது ஆயிரமாவது ஆண்டின், இரண்டாம் நடுப்பகுதியில் இந்நகரத்தின் பெயர் நகர் என்றும், பின்னர் நவார் என்றும் அறியப்படுகிறது. செமிடிக் மொழியில் நகர் என்பதற்கு வேளாண்மைக்கு ஏற்ற இடம் என்று பொருள் ஆகும்.[7] பண்டைய நகர் அல்லது நவார் இராச்சியத்தின் சிதிலங்கள் காணப்படும் இடத்தை டெல் பராக் என்பர்.

வரலாறு

கிமு ஏழாம் ஆயிரமாவது ஆண்டில் சிறு நகரமாக இருந்த நகர் எனப்படும் நவார் நகரம், பின்னர் கிமு நான்காம் ஆயிரமாவது ஆண்டில் வடக்கு மெசொப்பொத்தேமியாவில் பெரிய நகர இராச்சியமாக மாறியது. மேலும் இது பாபிலோன் போன்ற தெற்கு மெசொப்பொத்தேமியா நகரப் பண்பாடுகளுடன் தொடர்பு கொண்டிருந்தது.

கிமு மூன்றாம் ஆயிரமாவது ஆண்டின் தொடக்கத்தில், உரூக் ஆட்சியின் போது, நகர் இராச்சியத்தின் பரப்பளவு சுருங்கியது. பின்னர் கிமு 2600ல் மீண்டும் நகர் எனும் இவ்விராச்சியத்தின் பகுதிகள் விரிவடைந்தது. காபூர் சமவெளியை ஆண்ட இந்த இராச்சியத்திற்கு நகர் எனும் நகரம் தலைநகரமான விளங்கியது. நகர் இராச்சியம் கிமு 2600 முதல் கிமு 2300 முடிய தன்னாட்சியுடன் ஆளப்பட்டது

கிமு 2300ல் அக்காடியப் பேரரசின் படையெடுப்பால் நகர் இராச்சியம் அழிக்கப்பட்டு, மீண்டும் அவர்களால் கட்டப்பட்டப்பட்டது. [8] பின்னர் கிமு இரண்டாம் ஆயிரமாவது ஆண்டின் தொடக்கத்தில் நகர் இராச்சியம், ஹுரியர்களால் ஆளப்பட்டது. கிமு 1500ல் மித்தானி இராச்சியத்தினரின் மையமாக நகர் இராச்சியம் விளங்கியது. [9]

கிமு 1300ல் பழைய அசிரியப் பேரரசால் நகர் இராச்சியம் அழிக்கப்பட்டது.

அதன் பின்னர் நகர் இராச்சியம் தனது இழந்த பெருமையை மீட்க இயலவில்லை. அப்பாசியக் கலீபகத்தின் ஆவணங்களில் நகர் இராச்சியம் இருந்ததற்கான குறிப்புகள் இல்லை.

நகர் இராச்சியத்தில் செமிடிக் மக்கள், ஹலாப் மக்கள், அமோரிட்டு மக்கள், ஹுரியத் மக்கள் போன்ற பல்வேறு இனக்குழுக்கள் வாழ்ந்தனர்.

துவக்க காலத்திருந்து நகர் இராச்சியம் ஒரு சமயத்தின் மையமாக விளங்கியது. இதன் புகழ் பெற்ற கண் கோயிலின் முக்கியக் கடவுள் பெலட் - நகர் ஆகும். இக்கடவுளை காபூர் சமவெளி பிரதேசத்தில் கொண்டாடினர்.

தீட்டப்பட்ட நவரத்தினகற்கள், மணிக்கற்களின் செதுக்குவேலை, கண்ணாடி மற்றும் பீங்கான் பொருட்கள் போன்றவற்றிற்கு நகர் இராச்சியம் புகழ் பெற்றது.

நகர் இராச்சியம் அனதோலியா, லெவண்ட் மற்றும் தெற்கு மெசொப்பொத்தேமியாவிற்கு இடையில் இருந்ததால், இது புகழ் பெற்ற வணிக மையமாக விளங்கியது.

1937ல் நகர் தொல்லியல் களத்தை மேக்ஸ் மல்லோவான் என்பவர் அகழாய்வு மேற்கொண்டார். பின்னர் 1979 முதல் 2011 முடிய பல்வேறு அகழாய்வாளர்கள் நகரில் தொல்லியல் பணிகள் மேற்கொண்டனர்.

நகரின் பண்டைய கண் கோயில் பல தளங்களுடன் கட்டப்பட்டிருந்தது.[11] [12][11][13]

மாரி நகரத்தின் களிமண் பலகைகளில் எழுதப்பட்ட குறிப்புகளிலிருந்து பண்டைய நகர் இராச்சியம் குறித்தான தொன்மையான செய்திகள் கிடைக்கப்பெற்றுள்ளது. மேலும் எப்லா இராச்சியத்தின் களிமன் பலகைகளில் எழுதப்பட்ட குறிப்புகள் மூலம் நகர் இராச்சியம் குறித்தான செய்திகள் கிடைக்கப் பெறுகிறது.[14]
