எசுப்பானிய மொழி (español) அல்லது ஸ்பானிய மொழி' அல்லது எசுப்பான்யால் மொழி (ஆங்கிலம்: Spanish language) ரோமானிய மொழிகள் குடும்பத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு மொழியாகும். இது எசுப்பானியத்திலும் (ஸ்பெயினிலும்), தென்னமெரிக்க நாடுகளிலும் பெருவாரியாக பேசப்படும் மொழியாகும். ஐக்கிய அமெரிக்காவின் தென் மாநிலங்களிலும் பரவலாகப் பேசப்படுகின்றது. இம்மொழியை உலகில் ஏறத்தாழ 350 மில்லியன் மக்கள் பேசுகிறார்கள். உலகில் 21 நாடுகளில் அரச அலுவல் மொழியாக உள்ளது.

வரலாறு தொகு

எசுப்பானிய மொழி இலத்தீன் மொழியில் இருந்து கிளைத்த ஒரு மொழியாகும். ரோமன் பேரரசு திளைத்து இருந்த காலத்தில் (கி.மு 200-கி.பி 150), ரோமானியர் படையெடுத்து ஐபீரிய மூவலந்தீவுப் பகுதிகளில் (இன்றைய எசுப்பானியாவும் போர்த்துகலும் ஆகும்) வென்ற நாடுகளில் அன்று பரவிய பேச்சு வழக்கு இலத்தீன் (Vulgar Lain) மொழிவழி இம்மொழி தோன்றியது. பேச்சு வழக்கு இலத்தீன் மொழியானது பெரும்பாலும் படையாட்களும், வணிகர்களும் மற்ற குடியேறிய பொதுமக்களும் பேசிய மொழியாகும். இது கற்றவர்களின் செம்மொழியாகிய இலத்தீனில் இருந்து மாறுபட்டது. எசுப்பானிய மொழி குடியேற்ற வாதக் காலத்தில் (~ கி.பி. 1500) அமெரிக்கக் கண்டங்களுக்குப் பரவியது. இன்று இம்மொழி 21 நாடுகளின் ஏற்பு பெற்ற அலுவல் மொழியாகப் பயன்படுகின்றது. ஏறத்தாழ 322 மில்லியன் முதல் 400 மில்லியன் மக்கள் இம்மொழியைப் பேசுவதாகக் கணக்கிடப்பட்டுள்ளது[2][3]. உலகில் அதிகம் பேசப்படும் மொழிகள் வரிசையில் இது ஐந்தாமிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது. ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் அவையின் ஏற்பு பெற்ற ஆறு மொழிகளில் இதுவும் ஒன்று. ஐரோப்பாவில் எசுப்பானியாவில் பேசப்படும் மொழி காஸ்ட்டில்லியன் என்றும் தென் அமெரிக்காவில் பேசப்படும் எசுப்பானிய மொழியை அமெரிக்க எசுப்பானிய மொழி என்றும் குறிப்பிடப்படுகின்றது.

மொழி அமைப்புகள் தொகு

எசுப்பானிய மொழி உலகிலேயே ஒலிப்பொழுக்கம் (phonetic) மிக்க மொழிகளில் ஒன்றாகும். எழுத்துக்கூட்டல்களைக் கொண்டு சொற்களை எளிதாகவும் துல்லியமாகவும் ஒலிக்கலாம்.

எசுப்பானிய மொழியின் நெடுங்கணக்கு அல்லது அகரவரிசை தொகு

எசுப்பானிய மொழியில் மொத்தம் 29 எழுத்துக்கள் உள்ளன. அவையாவன:

மெய்யொலிகள் மெய்யெழுத்துகள் தொகு

எசுப்பானிய மொழியின் அகரவரிசையில் உள்ள 29 எழுத்துக்களுள் 5 உயிரொலிகளும், வேற்றுமொழி சொற்களில் மட்டும் பயன்படும் w என்னும் எழுத்தும் நீங்கலாக மொத்தம் 23 மெய்யொலி எழுத்துக்கள் உள்ளன (y என்னும் எழுத்தை மெய்யெழுத்தாகக் கொண்டால்). அவற்றுள் ஈரெழுத்து கூட்டங்களாகிய ch மற்றும் ll ஆகிய இரண்டும் எசுப்பானிய மொழியில் தனி மெய்யெழுத்துக்களாகக் கருதப்படுகின்றன. மெய்யெழுத்துக்களில் n என்னும் எழுத்து வேறு ñ என்னும் எழுத்து வேறு.

பிற முக்கியமான மெய்யெழுத்து ஒலிப்பு விதிகள் தொகு

  • c என்னும் மெய்யெழுத்துக்குப் பின் e அலது i வந்தால் c என்னும் எழுத்தை ஆங்கிலத்தில் sit என்னும் சொல்லில் வரும் s என்பதுபோல ஒலிக்க வேண்டும். ஆனால் எசுப்பானியாவில் பேசப்படும் காஸ்ட்டில்லியன் என்னும் எசுப்பானிய மொழி வடிவத்தில் இதனை ஆங்கிலச் சொல்லாகிய think என்பதில் வரும் "th" போல ஒலிக்க வேண்டும். ஆங்கிலத்தில் think என்பதை ஸ்திங்க் என்பதுபோல சற்றே காற்றொலி கலந்து முதல் தகரத்தை ஒலிக்க வேண்டும்.
  • எசுப்பானிய மொழியில் h என்னும் எழுத்தை ஒலிப்பது கிடையாது.

[s] may become the approximant [ɹ] before a rhotic (israelita: [iɹraeˈlit̪a]). In many places it debuccalizes to [h] in final position (niños), or before another consonant (fósforo) – in other words, the change occurs in the coda position in a syllable. In the Colombian Caribe gemination may occur before /k/ or /f/ consonants (pescado: [peˈkːað̞o] or [peˈkːao], fósforo: [ˈfofːoro]). Before voiced consonants, /s/ is sometimes lightly voiced or a fully voiced [z] (desde).
