  1. ↑ The MoHFW data has included a case from திமாப்பூர் மாவட்டம் of நாகாலாந்து, a northeastern state of India, against the case count of அசாம். It has been included since the patient was shifted in GMCH, Assam for treatment.[1] Here in the table the case figure is included against Assam as per MoHFW and not per the அசாம்'s statistics.[2]
  2. ↑ The MoHFW data has included a death from மாகே மாவட்டம் of Puducherry, a union territory of India and which is surrounded by வடக்கு மலபார் region of கேரளம், against the death count of Kerala. It has been included since the patient died at Parayaram Medical College in கண்ணூர், Kerala.[3] Here in the table the death figure is included against Kerala as per MoHFW and not per the கேரள அரசு’s statistics.[4]
